The system captures the peaks and valleys in usage and adjusts the minimum and maximum number of pieces based on these patterns, as well as the time it takes to replenish. This ensures that you always have the correct quantity available for production.

What the Weight Scale Looks Like

Several scales are mounted on one shelf. A cabinet consists of eighty scales, each programmed with a minimum and maximum number of items to suit production. This way, the scale always determines the specific need.

The Working Method

The scale helps companies reduce their stock levels of fasteners and C-parts. Supply Chain Solutions Manager Sander Langkamp explained, "For a customer who uses an average of eighty pieces of one article per week, we can set the maximum to one hundred and the minimum to fifty pieces." When the stock reaches the minimum of fifty pieces, an order for fifty items is automatically placed to bring the stock back up to the maximum of one hundred. Fabory offers the service of having a merchandiser replenish the articles after the required number of ordered articles.

In stock management, the system allows grouping items from various suppliers under a single supplier, providing transparency for each item. Customers can log in to the platform to view fasteners and C-parts stock levels.
