Dankzij de bijzondere geometrie van de plug kan de SXR in massief materiaal en materialen zoals geperforeerde baksteen worden gebruikt. Door de geringe verankeringsdiepte van slechts 50 mm kan de constructieplug in het bijzonder bij meervoudige bevestigingen van niet-dragende systemen op zeer efficiënte wijze worden verwerkt. De fischer Constructieplug SXR-FUS met de zeskante schroef en passende onderlegring wordt vooral aanbevolen voor de bevestiging van metaalconstructies.
