Sonic Timing tool PUMA 2.2


As of 2011 Ford changed the methodof fuel pump sprocket removalon the 2.2 TDCI (Puma) dieselengines. The sprocket no longer hasthreaded holes which means the legsof the puller used to remove thesprocket must be hooked in shape. The 829095 puller allows the removalof these sprockets by allowingthe High Pressure diesel injectionpump to be pushed out of the pumpsprocket to enable pump removalwithout disturbing the timing chain. Special Note:To perform this task the 829095 mustbe used with Ford special tool303-1151 (sprocket holding tool). Note: The 829095 kit contains aforce screw. Force screws must belubricated with high pressuregrease. Sonic recommends the use ofMolybdenum Disulphide Grease (driveshaft grease).Do not use assembly or anti-seizegreases (copper greases).
