Description

Scotch-Brite™ SE Surface Conditioning Disc combines an aggressive non-woven disc for heavy duty deburring and finishing, with a convenient hook and loop attachment system. Our disc uses aluminium oxide abrasive for a fast cut and fibre that conforms well to help preserve edges and contoured surfaces. For efficient heavy duty deburring, sanding, grinding and finishing, use 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ SE Surface Conditioning Disc with aluminium oxide abrasive. Aluminium oxide is preferred by many industrial professionals for its high cut-rate and long life. It’s a tough, durable abrasive that continually self-fractures during use to expose fresh cutting edges, compared to traditional abrasives such as garnet, which quickly wear down with use. It also has low heat retention and is perfect for grinding, sanding and finishing. Our disc with aluminium oxide is suitable for use on a wide variety of substrates in woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products featuring abrasives blended into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibres. Combining abrasives with fibres in this way creates an abrasive system offering consistent results for the entire product lifespan. The open web material runs cool and is load resistant, limiting clogging of the fibres which keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance.
